Ask Me My Pronouns!
Jason Landau Goodman is among the leading LGBTQ civil rights advocates in Pennsylvania. As the founding Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Youth Congress, PA's first and only statewide LGBTQ youth organization, they spearheaded numerous major local and statewide policy wins for LGBTQ Pennsylvanians and helped support hundreds of young leaders across the commonwealth.
A fifth-generation Pennsylvanian, Jason's first campaign was to successfully help enact an LGBTQ nondiscrimination ordinance in his hometown of Lower Merion. Since then, he has been instrumental in advocating for LGBTQ nondiscrimination protections to be adopted in dozens of municipalities, including Gettysburg, Shippensburg, and Huntingdon.
After ten years as Executive Director, Jason continues to support the work of PYC as a member of its Board of Directors. Jason remains involved in the group's efforts to promote public policy for LGBTQ inclusion. Jason has been named a Person of the Year by Philadelphia Gay News and has been on City & State PA's Pride Power 100 since it began. He completed an undergraduate and a master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Jason is now an environmental lawyer based in both Lower Merion and Harrisburg.
